Blower Lou wordt 's morgens wakker in een klein stadje in Michigan. Ze schrikt want ze lijdt aan vreemde verschijnselen. Haar vriend Sadie denkt dat ze zwanger is, maar Lou houdt vol dat ze al een jaar met niemand naar bed is geweest. Een mysterieuze vreemdeling, genaamd Lorna, gelooft Lou. Maar dan worden er vreemde geruchten verspreid in het stadje waardoor Lou's realiteitszin nogal in het geding komt.
